Sprint

I hate you. I pay for your services, to keep in contact with my family, friends and make doctors appointments and such. My calls have been getting dropped or not going through at all. Unlimited texting is my addiction... and for it to take 5 different trys for ONE text to go through... IRRITATING beyond belief! If you only knew what it was like to be in my shoes for a day... taking care of 4 highly active children, no connection to the outside world other than your stupid service... grrr to you!!!

Are you uneducated or do you just not care?

Pet peeve of mine... misuse of words. Irritating. Why do grown adults, who have supposidly passed high school not know the difference in words? I am forever seeing things like "If he would have told me that than I would have done it." Than?? Do we know what the word THAN means? Here... I will tell you...

(taken directly from Dictionary.com)

than
-conjunction
1.(used, as after comparative adjectives and adverbs, to introduce the second member of an unequal comparison): She's taller than I am.
2.(used after some adverbs and adjectives expressing choice or diversity, such as other, otherwise, else, anywhere, or different, to introduce an alternative or denote a difference in kind, place, style, identity, etc.): I had no choice other than that. You won't find such freedom anywhere else than in this country.
3.(used to introduce the rejected choice in expressions of preference): I'd rather walk than drive there.
4.except; other than: We had no choice than to return home.
5.when: We had barely arrived than we had to leave again. –preposition
6.in relation to; by comparison with (usually fol. by a pronoun in the objective case): He is a person than whom I can imagine no one more courteous.

Now lets move onto THEN

then
–adverb
1.at that time: Prices were lower then.
2.immediately or soon afterward: The rain stopped and then started again.
3.next in order of time: We ate, then we started home.
4.at the same time: At first the water seemed blue, then gray.
5.next in order of place: Standing beside Charlie is my uncle, then my cousin, then my brother.
6.in addition; besides; also: I love my job, and then it pays so well.
7.in that case; as a consequence; in those circumstances: If you're sick, then you should stay in bed.
8.since that is so; as it appears; therefore: You have, then, found the mistake? You are leaving tonight then. –adjective
9.being; being such; existing or being at the time indicated: the then prime minister. –noun
10.that time: We have not been back since then. Till then, farewell. —Idioms
11.but then, but on the other hand: I found their conversation very dull, but then I have different tastes.
12.then and there, at that precise time and place; at once; on the spot: I started to pack my things right then and there. Also, there and then.

There you have it folks... the differences between THAN and THEN... remember it... PLEASE!! Once you can grasp the proper use of than vs. then... we shall then move onto another pet peeve... THERE, THEIR, and THEY'RE. Of course there is always YOUR and YOU'RE, and TO, TWO, TOO.

Sure, this entry may have come across as a tad bitchy... but I am doing it for YOU... for the greater good of teaching proper language use. You can do it! I know you can... if you're too lazy there is that nifty little toolbar thing called a spell checker! Score!

Since when am I invisible??

Things are piling up heavily today. It started out not so bad, just tiring as usual with the kids getting up at the crack of dawn. No biggie there... I am used to that by now. So we go on with our day, get errands done and come home to relax. Thats when my mood turned sour.

I post things in my group only to be ignored, get maybe two replies if that.

Hear things second hand or third down the line, hardly ever straight from the own persons mouth anymore.

Never getting phone calls anymore.

Rarely ever being asked to hang, or go places. - Yeah I have kids and everyone knows my kids come first and foremost in my world, but if youre a parent thats the way it should be. Kids before partying... always.

Anyway... yeah I am letting things get to me, I am being pissy and bitching but I am so damn sick and tired of being invisible!!! I am not here for your convience, only when you have no one else to hang out with or no one else to call. If thats the case... dont even bother because I am better than that. At least I think so, whether or not you do I could care less.

I can count my true friends on one hand... sad? People are flakes these days... I miss the days when people were reliable.

Yeah so thats my current mood... sucks huh! Anyway... time to blare some music and workout to get it off my shoulders then write to relax... this too shall pass...
